Aindrila Chatterjee is a psychologist, psychological counsellor, PhD scholar in Psychology and MBA. She founded The Mind Projects as a space where psychological understanding can meet the realities of everyday life with warmth, clarity and professional care.

Aindrila came to psychology with more than 14 years of experience across corporate and social-sector work. That history matters in the counselling room. Work stress does not exist separately from ambition, money, family responsibility, status, time, relationships or the practical choices a person has to make. Emotional difficulties usually arrive inside a life that is already moving.
Her work therefore pays attention to both inner patterns and outer context. A session may explore beliefs, emotion, behaviour and relationships while staying grounded in what the person can realistically do in the life they have.
Aindrila's style is collaborative, curious and practical. She does not use one therapeutic model as a script for every person. Depending on the concern, sessions may draw on cognitive and behavioural approaches, REBT, ACT, emotion-regulation work, skills-based methods, reflective exploration and communication work.
Different concerns need different kinds of attention. One person may benefit from challenging a thought. Another may need to recognise a pattern before changing it. Someone else may need a more workable way to manage intense emotion, communicate a need or make a difficult decision.
Enough attention to understand the context before moving quickly into advice, technique or interpretation.
Questions are used to clarify patterns, beliefs, choices and relationship dynamics.
Sessions can include structured exercises, thought work, behavioural tasks, communication practice or emotion-regulation skills when these fit the concern.
You do not have to tell the whole story in the first meeting. Pace and depth can be negotiated.
If the concern needs psychiatric care, formal assessment, crisis support or another specialist service, Aindrila can discuss an appropriate next step.
The Mind Projects provides counselling and emotional wellness support. Diagnosis, medication and emergency care sit outside the scope of this practice.
Aindrila's psychology work and public conversations have appeared on platforms including Akashvani and The Wall. Her wider professional journey has also included work connected with Anandabazar Patrika / ABP Ananda, CRY and Sabyasachi.

I do not think people need to arrive in counselling with perfect insight or perfect words. Often the first useful thing we can do is make the situation clearer together. Once we understand the pattern, we have more to work with.
